Product Summary

The Z85C3008CMB is CMOS SCC serial communications controller. It is a cmos version of the industry standard NMOS SCC. The Z85C3008CMB is a dual channel, multi-protocol data communications peripheral that easily interfaces to CPU’s with either multiplexed or non-multipiexed address/data buses. The SCC also contains facilities for modem controls in both channels. In applications where these controls of Z85C3010VEC are not required, the modem controls can be used for general-purpose I/O. The daisy-chain interrupt hierarchy is also supported.
